I thought this would be a quick setup, but wow, the instructions had other plans. They were confusing enough that I kept second-guessing every step, and what should’ve been simple ended up taking forever. I did eventually get through it, but it felt way more dramatic than it needed to be.

I was disappointed with this order. It took much longer to arrive than I expected, and there weren’t many updates along the way, so I kept wondering what was going on. When it finally got here, the box was banged up, and the packaging inside didn’t feel like it offered much protection. For what I paid, I personally expected more care in how it was shipped. Overall, this just wasn’t a great experience for me

I ordered from kchilites.com because I wanted some decent off-road lights and the website was straightforward to use. Nothing confusing, and the whole buying process was smooth enough.

The lights themselves feel well made and they work like they should. They seem sturdy, and I haven’t had any real issues with performance so far, so on that side I’m happy.

That said, the price is where it gets a little hit or miss for me. I get that quality costs more, but compared to some other brands I looked at, I’m not totally convinced the value is amazing. Good product overall, just not something that completely blew me away for the money.

I emailed support about an issue and the replies took forever, which left me feeling kind of ignored?? I was just stuck waiting and didn’t really know what was going on.

I’m not sure if it’s just my taste, but the site looks a bit dated visually and kind of messy overall...

They’re bright. No issue there. But on side roads, the beam looks kind of uneven. A little strange. For the price, I expected it to be better

Where I started to regret the purchase a bit was during the wiring. The instructions were a lot more confusing than I expected, and a couple steps didn’t really line up with what I was seeing in front of me.
I ended up searching online and making a few educated guesses, which made me uneasy since it’s electrical work. For what these cost, I really wish the directions had been clearer and more complete.

The fitment info wasn't quite right for my Tacoma. I was expecting it to line up better, but it just didn't fit the way it should've.

The lights worked well at first and looked nice once they were set up. I was happy with them for a while, but one ended up cracking after a few months, which was a little disappointing. They’re not bad overall, just not quite as tough as I expected.

Took these out on a muddy trail in some heavy rain, and they kept shining like nothing was happening. Definitely glad I had them once the weather turned

I’m still waiting on my refund after the warranty return. I thought it would be simple, but, it’s just been a pain to deal with.
